Chatham Softball Drops Two at Bethany

Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 BETHANY, WV – The Chatham University softball team dropped a pair of games at Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) foe Bethany College on Saturday.  Bethany took game one 5-3 and game two 13-4.  Chatham falls to 6-14 overall and 3-3 in PAC play.  The Bison improve to 12-10 overall and 5-1 in the PAC.
 
In game one, Elizabeth Deckelman led the Cougars' offense with a two-RBI single in the sixth inning, while Olivia Traini recorded a sacrifice fly, also in the sixth.  Natalie Vazquez went 1-3 at the plate.
 
Elizabeth Doman, Elise Zavadak, Jenn Stefano, and Vazquez each went 1-3 at the plate and scored a run in game two.  Leigha Pehrson went 1-2 and Ashley Lamb went 1-2 with an RBI.

Chatham returns to action on Monday, April 8 when they travel to La Roche College for a non-conference doubleheader.  Game one is slated for 3:00pm.
