Box Score 2 PITTSBURGH, PA- The Chatham University Softball team recorded a doubleheader split against Saint Vincent College on Tuesday. After losing game one by a score of 1-8, the Cougars fought back to win the second game by a score of 5-1. Chatham improved to 4-13 overall, while Saint Vincent fell to 6-4 overall.
In game one,
Elise Zavadak led the offense with the Cougars' sole run.
Natalie Vazquez went 1-3 at the plate with an RBI, while
Elizabeth Deckelman went 1-3 at the plate.
Leigha Pehrson pitched a complete game, taking the loss.
In the nightcap,
Elizabeth Doman, Zavadak, and Vazquez each tallied one run, while
Jenn Stefano grabbed two runs and three RBI. Deckelman and
Ashley Lamb each recorded one RBI.
Olivia Traini pitched a complete game, taking the win.
The Cougars will return to the field Thursday, April 4 for a home doubleheader against Grove City College. Game times are set for 3:30pm and 5:30pm.
