Box Score 2 PITTSBURGH, PA – The Chatham University Softball team dropped their fifth and sixth consecutive games, falling in a doubleheader to Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) foe Thomas More College on Sunday. The Saints took game one 6-2, and game two 6-1.
Chatham (7-21, 3-7 PAC) got on the board first in the opener, thanks to a
Leigha Pehrson RBI single that scored
Ashley Lamb. Pehrson later scored on a ground-rule double by
Elizabeth Doman to give the Cougars a 2-0 lead.
Thomas More (15-15, 6-4 PAC) responded with a huge fourth inning, in which they scored four runs. The Saints scored one run in the fifth and seventh innings, leading to the 6-2 victory.
Doman went 3-4 at the dish with one RBI.
Natalie Vazquez went 2-4, while Pehrson went 1-2 with a run scored and an RBI. Lamb went 1-3 with a run scored.
In game two, Thomas More tallied 14 hits and scored in four of the first five innings. After falling behind 4-0, Lamb scored off a fielder's choice from Doman, cutting the TMC lead to 4-1. The Saints once again scored two late runs to secure the victory.
Vazquez again went 2-4 at the plate.

Chatham returns to PAC action on Wednesday, April 17, when they travel to Washington & Jefferson College. Game one of the doubleheader is slated for 3:30pm.
