Box Score 2 PITTSBURGH, PA- The Chatham University Softball team dropped a pair of games against Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) opponent Westminster College on Saturday. Westminster clutched game one 5-1 and game two 10-1. Chatham falls to 7-19 overall and 3-5 in PAC play. The Titans improve to 14-9 overall and 8-1 in the PAC.
In game one,
Elizabeth Deckelman led the Cougars' offense, stealing home in the bottom of the fourth.
Abby Maier and
Ashley Lamb went 1-3 at the plate, while
Olivia Traini went 1-2.
Leigha Pehrson took the loss in the circle, giving up seven hits while striking out one.
In game two,
Natalie Vazquez scored the Cougars' lone run in the top of the third and went 2-3 at the plate. Deckelman went 1-3 at the plate with an RBI, while
Jenn Stefano and Traini went 1-2 at the plate.
Traini took the loss in the circle, giving up 14 hits while striking out one.
The Cougars return to action on Sunday, April 14 for a home doubleheader against Thomas More College. Game times are set for 1:00pm and 3:00pm.
