New Wilmington, PA - Chatham Track and Field traveled north to compete at the Westminster Invitational on Saturday.
The top finisher for the Cougars was sophomore Emenet Richardson, who finished 4th in the women's javelin throw. On the field, Eliana Borne earned a top finish, placing 8th in the women's 1500m. Sophomore Najiyah Smith also finished in the top ten, finishing 8th in the women's high jump. Senior Kayla Johnson was the only other Cougar to finish in the top ten, placing 10th in the women's discus throw. Junior Sarah Yannayon followed closely behind, finishing 11th in the women's discus throw.
On the men's side, senior Brett Poles finished 11th in the men's triple jump. Senior Seth Sager earned a 13th-place finish in the men's triple jump. Rounding out the top finishers was Demetrius Broadnax, who placed 16th in the men's 400m.
Track and Field returns to action on Friday, April 17th. They travel to Wilberforce, OH, for the Joshua Culbreath Invitational.
