TRAFFORD, Pa. - On Monday, the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) released its weekly award winners for Week 8 of the 2026 Men's Volleyball season.
Chatham junior right-side hitter
Tim McCabe was named PAC Offensive Player of the Week after recording 28 kills and 3 aces in the Cougars' two matches on Saturday, leading the team to a victory over conference opponent Grove City.
In Chatham's first match of the day against the Wolverines, the North Huntingdon native tallied 16 kills while hitting at a .345 clip and had two aces in a 3-1 comeback victory. Then against Nazareth, McCabe racked up a team-high 12 kills and 8 digs with an ace. The Norwin product currently paces the PAC in kills per set at 3.63 and ranks seventh in the conference in aces with 0.33 per set.
As a team, the Cougars sit third in the PAC in points and kills per set as well as in hitting percentage. Defensively, Chatham (9-6, 3-2 PAC) ranks first in kills allowed and second in opponent hitting percentage.
McCabe and the Cougars return to action on Thursday at 7 p.m. for a match against Geneva at the Athletic and Fitness Center.
