Leonard Trevino announced that Head Women's Hockey Coach
Mike O'Grady has stepped down as the Chatham women's ice hockey coach.
"Coach O'Grady has been an incredibly hard worker for the program and we thank him for all of his efforts," Trevino said. "We wish him all the best in his future endeavors, and will begin a nationwide search immediately."
While at the helm for the Cougars O'Grady recorded an 84-118-14 overall record over seven seasons. Meanwhile he recorded a 42-66-5 record in the UCHC. Under O'Grady's leadership the Cougars qualified for the UCHC tournament six times, winning three games in the postseason.
Billy Connelly has been named the Interim Head Women's Hockey Coach, a nationwide search for the next head coach will begin immediately.Â
