MEADVILLE, PA - The Chatham women's soccer team (3-2-2, 0-1-0 PAC) did not come out on top in their late night conference opener game against the Allegheny Gators (2-5-2, 1-0-0 PAC).
The Cougars were unable to secure any points tonight while on the road in their first conference game of the season. It was an even match in the first half as the Cougars and Gators went into halftime scoreless.
While the Gators may have been able to find the back of the net twice, the Cougars offense had multiple opportunities tonight. The Cougars had a total of eight shots on goal tonight, three of which came from senior
Halle Marsalis. Right behind her with two shots on goal was sophomore
Sarah Vescio.
Sophomore goalkeeper Kyanni Escdero and the Cougar back line had a busy night tonight as there were eight saves made.
The Cougars will return home at UPMC Graham Field this Saturday, September 27th when they will take on PAC opponent Franciscan at 1 PM.
