PITTSBURGH PA - Chatham (3-2-2) took down Muskingum (2-6) this afternoon at UPMC Graham Field.
The Cougars took the lead in the 12' minute off a goal by
Halle Marsalis. The Chatham offense didn't stop there as they scored a second goal to open up the second half.
Kaitlyn Valentic scored her first of the season on a pass from
Ainsley Smith.
Despite a late goal by the Fighting Muskies with 15 minutes left in the game, the Cougars were able to maintain control of the field and secure the win.
Chatham led the game with 10 shots on goal and nine corner kicks.
The Cougars open up conference play on September 24 at Allegheny College.
