NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. – April 8, 2022 – The Chatham men's and women's outdoor track & field teams began the Westminster Invitational with the throwers taking center stage. At the end of the day, four Cougars had top 10 finishes in the hammer and javelin throws.
The women were paced by sophomore thrower
Violeta Kenzevich, who heaved a third-place toss in the flight one finals, and graduate
Alexia Page-Boyd was fourth in the flight two finals. In the javelin throw, senior
Haley Daugherty was seventh in flight one and Kenzevich was second in flight two.
For the men, two Cougars were third and fifth respectively in the javelin throw. Sophomore
Brent Clutter made podium with a third-place final and senior Justin DeSabato followed closely behind at fifth.
The rest of the events take place tomorrow beginning at 10:00 am.
