How it happened

In the second period, the Cardinals would score three goals.
Junior Cassidy Colhoun (Kincardine, ONT / Saugeen-Mailland Lightning) would score at 15:31 in the second period on a power play assisted by junior Kassandra Petersen (Faribault, Minn. / Minnesota Blades).
Plattsburgh State would score four unanswered goals in the third period to end the game.
Petersen led the team with five shots on goal.

Junior goaltender Sydney Isbell (Thunder Bay, ONT / Thunder Bay Queens) made an impressive 66 saves this afternoon with seven goals against.
