Chatham Basketball Suffers 98-55 Loss to UPG

Box Score GREENSBURG, PA – Pitt-Greensburg had six players reach double figures in a 98-55 win over Chatham University on Tuesday.  UPG improves to 2-3 on the season and Chatham falls to 1-4.
 
Rachel McClain led the Cougars with 12 points, while Jessica Manfredi tallied 11.  Jesse Hinkle scored 10 and recorded seven rebounds.  Hinkle has led the squad in rebounds in all five games this season.
 
UPG was led by Kayla Dames who scored 18.  Morgan Biddle and Megan Hans each tallied 14. 
 
The Bobcats jumped out to an early 22-6 lead following a 12-2 run, and increased that lead to 37-14 with 5:51 to play in the first half.  They entered halftime up 23 at 46-23. 
 
Chatham recorded assists on 10 of their 17 field goals and shot 18-26 (69.2%) from the free throw line.
 
The Cougars return to action on Sunday, December 1 when they travel to La Roche College.  Tip-off is set for 3:00pm.
