TRAFFORD, Pa. - On Wednesday night, the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) announced its yearly award winners and All-PAC selections for the 2025-26 Women's Basketball season.
Chatham senior forward
Madison Nereu became the first player in program history to win the PAC Player of the Year award and was an All-PAC First Team selection. The Cary, N.C. native was the leading scorer in the PAC, averaging 18.4 points per game and scoring 459 total points this season. Nereu additionally finished fourth in the conference in rebounds (9.4 RPG), eighth in assists (3.4 APG) and fourth in steals (2.2 SPG). The Green Level graduate set a new program mark for made field goals in a season in the Cougars' final game, completing her senior year with a PAC-leading 187 field goals made.
Senior forward
Alyssa Laukus also received All-PAC honors as an honorable mention. The Norwin product was second on the team in scoring with 12.8 PPG and set a new Chatham record by shooting a PAC-best 56.8 percent from the field. Defensively, Laukus ranked fourth in the conference with 1.6 blocks per game.
