Box Score PITTSBURGH, PA- The Chatham University Ice Hockey team suffered a 3-2 loss in overtime play against SUNY Cortland on Sunday afternoon. Red Dragons' senior Kellie Micillo scored the game-winning goal with one minute, 10 seconds remaining, which the Cougars were unable to answer. SUNY Cortland improves to 4-11-1 overall and 4-6-0 in ECAC-West play, while Chatham falls to 3-14-0 overall and 0-10-0 in ECAC-West play.

Maggie Giamo and Chelsey Wright also scored goals for Cortland in regulation play. Red Dragons' goalkeeper Deanna Meunier made 13 saves.

The Cougar defense held the Red Dragons to three goals in their second meeting of the weekend as goalkeeper Megan Buchanan (So., Ottawa, ONT/Rideau St. Lawrence) earned 33 saves on 36 shots.

For the Cougar offense, Morgan Becer (Jr., Ligonier, PA/Team Pittsburgh) and Casey Morfeld (Jr., Union City, CA/San Jose Jr. Sharks) led with two combined goals. Katrina Hawkins (Fy., Powell River, BC/North Island Extreme) recorded five shots for Chatham.

The Cougars will return to action for away matchups against Utica College on Friday, January 25 and Saturday, January 26. Chatham will take the ice at 4:00 pm on Saturday and 4:00 pm on Sunday.
