Chatham Ice Hockey Falls to Plattsburgh 5-0

PLATTSBURGH, NY- The Chatham University Ice Hockey team (0-1-0, 0-1-0 ECAC West) lost 5-0 to Plattsburgh State University (2-0-1, 1-0-0 ECAC West) on Saturday night at the Stafford Ice Arena. The Cardinals skated to a win with a 71-7 advantage in shots on goal against the Cougars. Chatham did not capitalize on the power-play when Plattsburgh went 1-for-8.

For the Cougars, Goaltender Megan Buchanan (So., Ottawa, Ontario/Rideau St. Lawrence) finished the game with 66 total saves.

The Cougars have a chance to redeem themselves Sunday, November 4 for a rematch against the Cardinals. Chatham and Plattsburgh take the ice at 1:00 pm.
