TRAFFORD, Pa. - For the 2026 season, the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) released the preseason poll for women's soccer and players to watch. 

The Cougars were picked to finish sixth out of 12 teams in the PAC after receiving a total of 82 points in the poll. The team finished 10-6-3 for their 2025 season, and went 7-4 in conference play. The Cougars qualified for the PAC Tournament last season for the first time since 2022 as the #4 seed.  They look to build on their strong 2025 season, and carry that momentum in 2026.

Two Cougars made the PAC Players to Watch list this year. They are midfielder/forward Elizabeth Gallup and defender/midfielder Sarah Vescio. Gallup and Vesico were both  Honorable Mention All-PAC last year.

Gallup enters her junior season as a Cougar after finishing last season with eight goals, one assist, 17 points, and 52 shots on goal. Two of Gallup's goals last season were game winners. 

Vescio, also entering her junior season, has been an incredible asset to the Cougars. She has started in 19 games, playing a total of 1614 minutes She then finished the 2025 season with two goals, three assists and seven points. 

The Cougars start their season on Wednesday September 2nd at 5 PM when they travel to Wooster, OH for a matchup with Wooster.
