During Kaitlyn Valentic's season, she has logged a total of 2 goals and 1 assist. Starting 18 out of 19 games, the midfielder has contributed significantly to her team. During her time at Chatham, the Cleveland native has become essential in the line up and contributed 3 total points so far. Why D3:

I chose Division 3 athletics for the opportunity to both play my sport but also have the same amount of dedication to academics. School is a very important aspect of my life, so I am still able to get where I want professionally, while also focusing and playing the sport I love so much. Division 3 allows students to be versatile in athletic, academic, and social circles, creating well-rounded people.

What do you enjoy most about D3 athletics:

I enjoy the community of Division 3 athletics the most. Since we do not get paid to play our sport, we play it simply out of love for the game. Every athlete shares that same love and drive to continue being an athlete which allows us to support each other on a whole other level. I love that I am able to appreciate and play my sport, but also figure out who I am outside of being an athlete. I am able to create a true identity and be a part of a great community in Division 3 athletics.
