PITTSBURGH, PA - It was the final day of the Western PA Invite and the Chatham men's (1-5, 1-4 PAC) and women's (3-4, 3-3 PAC) swim and dive teams came to secure top finishes.
On the men's side of things, a handful of Cougars secured top 10 places.
The 400 Yard Freestyle Relay team consisting of
Caleb Trainum,
Max Rollins,
Ethan Hopkins, and Kenny McFerron secure a 10th place finish. Individually, two Cougs placed in the 1650 Yard Freestyle -
Brady Gardner finished 7th and Jack Mitchell finished 8th. To round out the top 10 finishes, two more Cougs would find themselves earning 9th place. Trainum in the 400 Yard IM and Rollins in the 100 Yard Backstroke.
On the women's side of things, only one Cougar would find herself with a top 10 finish. That would be
Alayna Kercher who finished 8th in the 1650 Yard Freestyle.
The Cougs are back in action Saturday, January 31st for Senior Day and their first home meet when they host Malone University at 1PM in Sigo Falk Natatorium.
