HIRAM, OH - It was another road match for the Chatham men's (1-5, 1-4 PAC) and women's (3-4, 3-3 PAC) as they headed to Hiram to take on the Terriers in another PAC meet. 

On the men's side of things, the Terriers (6-2, 4-0 PAC) would claim victory in a 146-74 win. The 200 meter freestyle relay team consisting of Max Rollins, Jack Mitchell, Ethan Hopkins, and Brady Gardner would claim a first place finish. While the 200 meter medley relay team consisting of Caleb Trainum, Max Rollins, Kenny McFerron, and Ethan Hopkins would earn a second place finish.

Rollins would finish first in the 50 meter butterfly and second in the 200 meter freestyle. Trainum would earn a second place finish in the 50 meter breaststroke, 100 meter backstroke and the 200 meter IM. Hopkins would round out the placing with a second place finish in the 100 meter freestyle. 

As for the women, the Cougars would defeat the Terriers (2-6, 1-3 PAC) with a score of 115-78. The 200 meter medley relay team with Carlie McClurg, Olivia Mucha, Siera Schmitt, and Hannah Kane would earn a first place. Additionally, the 200 meter freestyle relay team with Kane, Alayna Kercher, Casper Stevens, and Hannah Uhrinek would also finish first.

Kercher would earn a first place finish in the 800 meter freestyle, 400 meter freestyle, and a second place finish in the 50 meter breaststroke. Uhrinek would earn first in the 200 meter freestyle, 100 meter freestyle, and 200 meter IM. Schmitt would place first in the 50 meter butterfly, second in the 200 meter freestyle. Kane earned herself a second place finish in the 50 meter freestyle. Mucha earned second in the 100 meter freestyle and 200 meter IM McClurg earned second in the 100 meter backstroke and 50 meter butterfly.

The Cougars are back in action next Friday, January 23rd when they kick off the Western PA Invite at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA.
