HICKORY, N.C. – On Saturday,
Aurielle Brunner completed day one of the Lenior-Rhyne Last Chance Meet, which featured the first four events of the Women's Heptathlon.
Brunner took first in the high jump (1.62 meters), second in the 200-meter dash (25.48 seconds), third in the 100-meter hurdles (15.34 seconds), and fifth in the shot put (10.31 meters).
Tomorrow, Brunner will compete in the long jump and javelin throw to finish off the heptathlon.
