GENEVA, Ohio – On Saturday, Chatham senior Aurielle Brunner completed the third and final day of the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships at the SPIRE Institute. This marks the end of her athletic career at Chatham, which is by far the most decorated in school history.
Brunner's career came to a close in a fitting way – with another All-America finish, the 10th of her track & field career, this time in the triple jump. She finished third with a distance of 12.33 meters for her third All-America nod of the weekend.
She added to her national runner-up finish in the long jump on Thursday and her fifth place heptathlon performance from yesterday for three top-five finishes on the weekend.
Brunner finishes her track & field career as a seven-time All-American in outdoor competitions and a three-time All-American in indoor competitions.
