CANTON, OH - It was another long day in the books for the Chatham swim and dive team (1-3) as they wrapped up Day 2 of the Malone Invitational.
The women finished the day with a total of 211.50 points.
Leading the charge for the Cougars was
Hannah Uhrinek who secured a 6th place finish in the 100 yard butterfly and a 14th place finish in the 200 yard freestyle. Also securing a 10th place finish in the 400 yard IM was
Alayna Kercher, followed by
Siera Schmitt who finished 13th.
Olivia Mucha found herself earning 12th place in the 100 yard backstroke.
As a unit, Kercher,
Charlie Kephart,
Hannah Kane, and Uhrinek secured 13th place in the 800 yard freestyle relay. Mucha, Schmitt, Uhrinek, and
Carlie McClurg would collectively round out the scoring with a 15th place finish in the 200 yard medley relay.
The men finished the day with a total of 136.50 points.
Cal Hockman lead the way for the Cougars as he secured the only top 15 finish on the mens side today. He earned a 14th place finish in the 100 yard breaststroke.
The Cougars are back in action tomorrow with one last change to earns points in the Malone Invitational. They dive back into things at 10 AM in Canton, OH.
