WHEELING, WV - It was a long day for the Chatham men's and women's swim and dive teams ((1-2), (1-2)) as they were defeated by Wheeling University (4-0) combined 301-80, but secured their first win against Bethany (0-4) with a combined score of 239-21.
On the men's side of things,
Max Rollins earned second in the 50 Freestyle and third in the 100 Freestyle,
Caleb Trainum placed third in the 200 Freestyle, and
Cal Hockman earned third in the 100 Breaststroke.
As for the women, the 200 Medley Relay team consisting of
Carlie McClurg,
Siera Schmitt,
Casper Stevens, and
Olivia Mucha placed second. McClurg placed third in the 200 Freestyle,
Adela Holland placed second in the 100 Breaststroke, Schmitt placed third in the 100 Butterfly,
Hannah Uhrinek placed first in the 100 IM, and
Alayna Kercher placed third in the 200 IM,
The Cougars are back in the pool November 7th when they travel to take on the Westminster Titans at 6 PM.
