PITTSBURGH, Pa - On Wednesday, Chatham University and Vice President of Athletics and Recreation Leonard Trevino announced the hiring of Interim Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving Head Coach, Vic Galati.

"Coach Galati brings an understanding of and commitment to the swimming and diving program," Trevino said. "I'm confident that this continuity will provide a stable and focused environment as we prepare for the season ahead."

Galati is entering his fourth season with the Cougars. He has spent the previous three as the Cougars diving coach and assistant swimming coach. Before his time at Chatham, Galati spent 15 years as an assistant swimming coach and diving coach at Washington & Jefferson College. Galati's coaching career started at Canon McMillan High School.

"I am very excited to work more directly with the swimmers and help them prepare for success in and out of the pool," Galati said.
