PITTSBURGH - For the second consecutive season, Chatham Women's Lacrosse has clinched the four seed in the PAC Tournament. The Cougars will host the five-seeded Thiel Tomcats on Tuesday at 5 p.m. at UPMC Graham Field.
Chatham defeated Thiel in the regular season matchup on April 24 by the score of 9-6. Senior
Felicia Hutter tallied five points with three goals and two assists, while senior
Avery Redd collected nine ground balls and caused four turnovers. Graduate student

Sam Beall-Dennell had two goals and an assist.
The Cougars rank fifth in the PAC in goals per game (12.4) and points per game (17.1), while the Tomcats sit at sixth in goals per game (11.7) and seventh in points per game (15.1). Chatham has committed the least turnovers per game this season among PAC schools at 17.8 per contest.
Hutter ranks sixth in the conference with 48 goals this season, and Beall-Dennell is close behind in eighth at 46 goals. Thiel's Ashlyn Wightman leads the conference with 88 goals on the year. First year goalie
Meghan Cuza-Berry is fifth in the PAC with 120 saves and ranks seventh in save percentage at .441, while junior goalie
Sam Barrett leads the conference with a .587 save percentage.
Chatham Women's Lacrosse is still looking for its first ever PAC Tournament win. They are 0-2 all-time in the postseason, with a 23-18 loss against Thiel in the semifinal in 2021 and a 17-11 loss to Grove City in last year's quarterfinal.

The winner of the PAC Championship Tournament will receive the conference's automatic-qualifying bid to the Division III Championship. The field for this year's Division III Championship is scheduled to be announced Monday, May 6. First and second round games are scheduled for Saturday-Sunday, May 11-13.
