PITTSBURGH – The Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) has announced the Women's Volleyball yearly award winners and All-PAC selections for the 2024 season. Chatham is represented by three student-athletes on the All-PAC Second Team and received an honorable mention.

Sierra Ricci, sophomore right-side hitter
Becca Gesner, and sophomore setter
Ava Plunkard earned All-PAC Second Team honors, as voted on by the head coaches of each PAC team.

Ricci completed the season at seventh in the conference in digs per set with 5.60. The Pittsburgh native also tallied 81 assists and 31 service aces on the year.

Gesner finished 2024 with 2.83 kills per set, which was ninth place in the PAC. In addition, the second-year out of San Diego recorded 283 points and 24 service aces.

Plunkard placed second in the conference with 0.50 aces per set and fourth in the PAC with 6.92 assists per set. Defensively, the Butler High graduate registered 158 digs and 34 blocks over the course of the season.

Sophomore
Zoie Bateman was listed as an honorable mention for the All-PAC team. The middle hitter from Evansville, Indiana had 213 kills and 261.5 points in 2024.

Chatham reached the PAC Semifinal for the fourth consecutive season under head coach Joe Bortak, and all Cougars who achieved All-PAC honors this year are expected to return in 2025.
