Brunner and Domke Become Program’s First NCAA Track and Field Qualifiers

PITTSBURGH, Pa. - May 19, 2023 - As NCAA Division III Women's Track and Field qualifiers were finalized today, two Cougars earned the first National bids in Chatham Track and Field history.

Sophomore Aurielle Brunner earned the top-22 spot in the three events she dominated all season long: Triple jump, high jump, and long jump.

Her 12.31m triple jump lands her in fourth nationally, her 5.80m long jump at 15th, and her 1.66m high jump at 21st. Brunner won all three of these events at this year's PAC Outdoor Championships in addition to receiving the PAC's Most Outstanding Field Performer and Most Outstanding Overall Performer awards.

Joining Brunner in this honor is graduate student Carlee Domke, who qualified in 17th place for the 400m hurdles with her 1:01.99 mark achieved just yesterday at the Mount Union Last Chance meet.

The duo will head to Rochester, New York on May 25-27 to compete at the Polisseni Track and Field Complex.
