BETHANY, W.V. - April 5, 2023 - Chatham Women's Lacrosse earned its fourth straight win Wednesday night with a 21-7 road win over the Bethany Bison. The Cougars are 7-1 on the season and 3-0 in conference play, leading the PAC.
The Bison netted the opening goal of the game and fought to a 3-3 tie at the end of the first quarter, but it was all Cougars for the rest of the way. Chatham put up 10 goals in the second quarter and went into half with a 13-4 advantage. Junior midfielder
Felicia Hutter notched a hat trick in the first half. The Cougars scored the opening four goals of the second half, including two from senior midfielder
Bailey Donofrio, to take a 17-4 lead. Chatham tacked on four more in the final quarter to score 20+ goals for the third consecutive game.

Phallon Kilduff each put up four goals while Donofrio earned her own hat trick with three.

Sam Beall-Dennell secured 18 draw controls to set a new single-game record for the program. The previous record was 17 by Kendra McBroom on March 21, 2018. Beall-Dennell, who is the reigning PAC Midfielder of the Week, leads the conference with 7.88 draw controls per game.
Shots were 33-15 in favor of the Cougars. Chatham dominated on draw controls 26-5.
Next up for Women's Lacrosse is a home contest against W&J next Wednesday.
