PITTSBURGH, Pa. - April 12, 2023 - Chatham Women's Lacrosse fell 17-10 to Washington & Jefferson at home Wednesday evening, snapping the Cougars four-game win streak. Chatham is now 7-2 on the season and 3-1 in the PAC.
The Cougars got off to a rough start, going down 8-1 in the first quarter, and were never able to fully climb back.
Senior attacker
Selena Justus had a hat trick and an assist for four total points. Senior midfielder
Bailey Donofrio also found the net three times. Sophomore
Samantha Barrett made 15 saves in net.
Shots on goal were 32-23 in favor of the Presidents, while the Cougars held a 17-14 advantage on draw controls.
Women's Lacrosse will return to action on the road Saturday at noon against Grove City.
