NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - April 26, 2023 - Chatham Women's Lacrosse won 12-11 in dramatic fashion Wednesday over the Westminster Titans. The Cougars are now 9-4 on the season and 5-3 in PAC play.

Phallon Kilduff scored twice in the opening 1:30 to give Chatham a quick 2-0 lead, but Westminster tied the game at two late in the first quarter before junior midfielder
Sam Beall-Dennell scored in the closing seconds of the period to retake the lead for the Cougars. The two teams traded goals for most of the second quarter, with sophomore midfielder
Erin Goodwin getting on the board twice and Kilduff scoring her third of the contest. The game was tied at six going into the break. The Titans scored the first two markers of the second half to go up 8-6, but Goodwin and Beall-Dennell pulled things level at eight. The back and fourth continued all the way to 11-11 before Kilduff netted her fifth goal of the game in the final minute to give the Cougars the narrow win.
Kilduff led the team with five points on five goals. Goodwin had four goals of her own to bring her season total up to 36, which leads the Cougars and ranks ninth in the PAC. Beall-Dennell had two goals to go with eight ground balls and eight draw controls.
The shots were 37-35 in favor of Chatham and the Cougars won the draw control battle 19-8.
