MEADVILLE, Pa. - September 17, 2022 - Chatham University's Women's and Men's Cross Country teams traveled to new PAC opponent Allegheny College this morning for this week's meet. The Women would finish fifth out of seven teams and the Men would take sixth of eight.
Sophomore Clare Erwin once again dominated, placing fourth with her 19:16 3M time. The next closest Chatham finisher for the Women was senior Tresa Coon, who crossed the finish line at 21:04 for 25th place. She was followed by 31st, 34th, and 35th place finishers Kendall Sirignano (22:37), Isabell Nagel-Russell (23:35), and Adrian David (24:04).
The Men's team had an impressive number of top-30 finishers, beginning with sophomore Ethan Kelley in 23rd at 23:26 in the 4M. He was followed by graduate student Brandon Romell in 27th at 25:07 and classmate Benjamin Brown at 25:13 in 29th place.
The Cougars' next competition is set for next Saturday, September 24th at Penn State Fayette. The Women will race at 11 AM followed by the Men at noon.
