Box Score 2 WASHINGTON, PA – April 28, 2018 – The Chatham University softball team split with host W&J on Saturday afternoon, falling in game one 13-2 (5 innings) before winning the nightcap, 1-0.
RECORDS: Chatham ends the year at 5-25 (3-15 PAC) while the Presidents are 12-18 (8-10 PAC).
GAME ONE (W&J 13, Chatham 2 – 5 innings)
AT THE PLATE: The Cougars managed just five hits as sophomore
Marissa Wightman (Cypress, Calif./Cypress) went 2-for-2 with one run scored.

Cassandra Gray (Allen Park, Mich./Allen Park) finished 1-for-2 with an RBI.
IN THE CIRCLE: First-year
Taylor Wisvari-Weir (Martins Ferry, Ohio/The Linsly School) earned the start and went two frames while senior
Samantha Crilley (Zelienople, Pa./Seneca Valley) tossed two innings of relief with three strikeouts.
GAME TWO (Chatham 1, W&J 0)
AT THE PLATE: Chatham enjoyed 11 hits and plated the game's only run in the top of the seventh, on an RBI groundout by first-year
Julie Swedberg (San Bruno, Calif./Capuchino).

Alexis Gonzalez (Riverside, Calif./Rancho Cucamonga) and sophomore
Holly Ackerman (East Rockaway, N.Y./Portledge School) collected two base hits apiece.
IN THE CIRCLE: Swedberg earned her second win of the season, going all seven innings with five strikeouts and just one walk.
