Sieg Sisters Lead Chatham To Victory Over Bethany; 64-55

Box Score BETHANY, W. VA. – FEBRUARY 6th, 2016 -- The Chatham University Women's Basketball team traveled to Bethany, W. Va. to take on the Bethany College Bison. The Cougars beat the Bison 64-55. The Cougars are now 9-12 overall and 5-9 PAC.

The Sieg sisters led the Cougars to victory this Saturday. Together they scored 30 of the 64 Chatham points. Sophomore Megan Sieg (Pittsburgh, Pa. / Serra Catholic) finished the game with 19 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists and 3 steals. First Year Katelyn Sieg (Pittsburgh, Pa. / Serra Catholic) finished with 11 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 steals.

The game today was quite the battle but Chatham managed to come out on top. The lead changed a total of 9 times and was tied 5. At half time, the Cougars led the Bison 33-31. The largest lead Chatham had came late in the third quarter when they were up 12 points. The Cougars outscored the Bison 31-24 in the second half and really controlled the majority of the half. 

The Cougars are back on the court this Wednesday February 10th when they host the Wolverines from Grove City College. Tipoff is set for 6 pm.
