Cougars Recognize 3 Seniors; Fall To Waynesburg 69-55

Box Score PITTSBURGH, PA. – FEBRUARY 20th, 2016 -- The Chatham University Women's Basketball hosted the Waynesburg University Yellow Jackets this afternoon in a conference match up. The Cougars recognized their three graduating seniors before the game. Chatham fell to the Yellow Jackets 69-55. The Women's basketball team finished the season 10-15 overall, 6-12 PAC. With that PAC finish, the Women earned a place in the PAC Playoffs for the first time in 6 seasons. Chatham will host Geneva on Monday February 22nd here in the AFC. Time is TBA.  

First Year Katelyn Sieg (Pittsburgh, Pa. / Serra Catholic) lead the Cougars in scoring yet again this season finishing with 15 points. Sieg also had 6 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals. In her final regular season game as a Cougar, Rachel McClain (Hollidaysburg, Pa. / Hollidaysburg) finished with 8 points, 3 rebounds and 2 blocks. Senior Chelsea Kovalcsik (Berea, Ohio / Berea) would chip in 5 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 block. Senior Anna Shashura (Deemston, Pa. / Bethlehem Center) would get 2 points, 1 assist and 1 steal.
