Cougars Fall to Soaring Eagles

Box Score PITTSBURGH, Pa – NOVEMBER 12^th, 2016 – The Chatham Cougars took on Elmira last night for the final game of the weekend series. The Cougars fell 8-0.

How it happened

Sophomore Jillian Rowland (St. Louis, Mo./Chicago Fury) would lead the team with four shots.
Junior Cassidy Colhoun (Kincardine, ONT/Kincardine District Secondary School) and junior Marissa Janiga (East Aurora, N.Y./Buffalo Stars) added two shots a piece.

In the goal

First Year goaltender Tara Riley (Windsor, N.Y. / Skaneateles U19) started for the Cougars and would play the entire three periods. Riley recorded 50 saves in 60 minutes.
