Box Score PITTSBURGH, PA - JANUARY 9th, 2016 -- The Chatham University Women's Basketball team defeated the Geneva College Golden Tornadoes tonight in a PAC game with a final score of 83-73. Chatham is now 6-7 overall and 2-4 in the conference.
After gaining the lead in the first quarter, the Cougars led the Golden Tornadoes for the rest of the game. The Cougars would have all five starters finish the game in double figures. Sophomore Megan Sieg (Pittsburgh, Pa. / Serra Catholic) scored 15 points, with 6 assists and 2 steals. Senior Rachel McClain (Hollidaysburg, Pa. / Hollidaysburg) would chip in 15 points as well. Junior Jesse Hinkle (Jefferson Hills, Pa. / Thomas Jefferson) put in another 15 points for the Cougars. First Year Katelyn Sieg (Pittsburgh, Pa. / Serra Catholic) and First Year Ashley McClain (Hollidaysburg, Pa. / Hollidaysburg) had 13 and 12 points respectively. Katelyn Sieg also pulled down 5 rebounds and had 3 steals.
The Chatham Cougars Women's Basketball team is back on the court on January 13th when they travel to Grove City College to take on the Grove City Wolverines at 5:30 pm.
