Box Score Bethany, Wv. – The Chatham University soccer team lost on the road today at Bethany College 0-4. Despite the score it was no indicator of how well the Couagrs played.
In the first half, first year forward
Megan Sieg (Pittsburgh, Pa.) hit the post twice in the first half and her luck wouldn't change as she rang two more shots of the post in the second half. Sieg would also have a goal disallowed in the second half, when the match ended she finished with a game high 6 shots.
Senior goalkeeper
Liz Sawyer (Saco, Me.) made seven saves on eleven shots, aggressive presses by Cougars into the Bisons end of the field were ended with unlucky misses and shots off the post. Ontop of Sieg's four shots that rang the post, sophomore forward
Skylar Benjamin (Strongsville, Oh.) also had a shot ding the post.
Chatham will host Grove City on Wednesday October 22nd at 7:30 Pm at Carnegie Mellon University.
