Mareija Bibbs had 16 kills on the day, but the Chatham University Volleyball team dropped a pair of matches to Thomas More College and Grove City College on Saturday. Chatham (0-14, 0-7 PAC) fell to TMC (11-3, 6-1 PAC) by scores of 25-20, 25-14, 25-19. Grove City (8-8, 2-4 PAC) defeated Chatham 25-12, 25-12, 25-17.
Against Thomas More, Bibbs had ten kills and
Heathir McIntyre tallied eight.
Erin Smith led the way with 11 assists, while
Arisa Tanimoto had 11 digs. Bibbs and
Aminata Dieng each recorded one block.
Versus Grove City, McIntyre had seven kills and Bibbs had six. Smith helped with 14 assists and five digs. Tanimoto had 16 digs, while McIntyre had ten, as well as a team-high three service aces.
Chatham returns to the court on Tuesday, October 1, when they host Saint Vincent College at 7:00pm.
