PITTSBURGH, Pa. – The Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) has announced the Women's Volleyball yearly award winners and All-PAC selections for the 2025 season. Chatham senior libero
Sierra Ricci took home the award for PAC Defensive Player of the Year and was a first-team All-PAC selection, while three other Cougars earned All-PAC honors.
Â
Junior rightside hitter
Becca Gesner was named to the All-PAC second team for the second consecutive season, while first year setter
Delaney Schwind and first year middle hitter
Evelyn White were honorable mentions for the All-PAC team.
Ricci not only paced the PAC in digs per set, but the Shaler Area graduate led all of NCAA Division III with 7.15 digs per set this season. That places her 10th all-time in digs per set in the modern era (2008-present) in Division III, and she is the first player to average over 7 digs per set since 2018. Ricci's 636 total digs were the fourth-most in Division III in 2025, and her 33 service aces were third-most on this year's Chatham squad. The senior is the second Cougars player to win a PAC postseason award in women's volleyball.
Gesner finished 2025 as Chatham's leader in kills with 233 (2.62 k/s). The San Diego native was 15th in the conference in kills per set, and added 19 aces and 102 digs to her stat line this campaign.

Schwind was the PAC leader in service aces (52) and aces per set (0.58). The Pennridge product also led this years' Cougar team and was 8th in the PAC in assists per set (5.17), totaling 460 on the season. Defensively, Schwind finished the 2025 campaign with 175 digs, third-most on the team.
White was Chatham's leader in hitting percentage (.266) and blocks (66) this season. Those numbers were good for 6th and 12th in the PAC in 2025. The Nolensville, Tenn. native also tallied 156 kills and 22 aces in 2025.
Â
The Cougars reached the quarterfinals of the PAC Tournament for the fifth consecutive season under head coach Joe Bortak, and Gesner, Schwind, and White are expected to return in 2026.
