Box Score PITTSBURGH, PA – The Chatham University soccer team lost a close battle with Muskingum University on Wednesday, 2-0. Chatham falls to 1-5 on the season.
Stephanie Price got the Muskies (6-1-2) on the board in the 9
th minute, scoring a header off Hailey Dickey's corner kick. Moriah Mathies scored in the 65
th minute off a rebound that hit the cross bar to put Muskingum up 2-0.
Skylar Benjamin and
Sarah Ellis led the Chatham offense with four shots apiece.
Savannah Moon and
Sarah Jugovic each tallied one.
Liz Sawyer made 12 saves in net.
Chatham returns to action on Saturday, September 28 for their final non-conference match-up of the season, at Penn College. Kickoff is set for 1:00pm.
