Mareija Bibbs had 12 total kills in a pair of Chatham losses on Wednesday. The Cougars (0-9, 0-3 PAC) fell in the opener of a tri-match to Waynesburg University (6-9, 1-3 PAC) 3-0, by scores of 25-17, 25-12, 25-12. Chatham dropped the finale to Westminster College (10-2, 3-1 PAC) 3-0. Scores of that match were 25-6, 25-15, 25-16.
Arisa Tanimoto and
Heathir McIntyre each had four kills tonight, while
Aminata Dieng tallied two.
Erin Smith led the way with 15 assists and also had six digs. McIntyre recorded 16 total digs while Bibbs had 10. Tanimoto connected on three service aces. Dieng tallied three blocks, while Bibbs had two and
Jade Lawson had one.
Chatham and Westminster face off again on Tuesday, September 24 in a tri-match that also features Geneva College. The matches will be played at Westminster College, beginning at 4:30pm.
