TRAFFORD, Pa. - On Monday the Presidents' Athletic Conference announced their final set of men's and women's lacrosse weekly awards. Among the players recognized for their performance last week, the Cougars had a men's and women's player. Bella Walski-Rodriguez was named PAC Offensive Player of the Week for the first time this season. Cody Randal was named the PAC Specialist of the Week for the second time this season.

Walski-Rodriguez picked up her first PAC Offensive Player of the Week award and her fifth weekly award of the season, PAC Newcomer of the Week four times. She helped the Cougars clinch the second seed in the upcoming PAC playoffs and a first round bye for the first time in program history after her team high 13 point week. In the Cougars midweek match up with Saint Vincent, Walski-Rodriguez became the second women's lacrosse player this year to score eight goals in a game for the Cougars. Her contributions for the team did not stop there as she also assisted on two more goals raising her single game point total to a career high 10. She followed that up with a solid performance in the Cougars regular season finale against Westminster. She scored three goals, her 11th hat trick of the season, and picked up five ground balls.

Randal picked up his second PAC Specialist of the Week award, previously earning the award on April 6th. Randal helped the Cougars close out the regular season with a 30-1 victory over Bethany. Randal went 31-of-33 on face offs, setting a new single game record breaking the record he set earlier this season and breaking the single season face off wins record. During the game, he also picked up 12 ground balls and scored one goal and assisted one other for his fourth straight game with at least one goal and one assist. That goal was his 11th of the season, the most in a season for the senior.

Walski-Rodriguez and the women's lacrosse team will be back in action on Thursday April 30th when they host the PAC Semifinals at 7 PM. Their opponent is still undetermined.

Randal and the men's lacrosse team will be back in action on Wednesday April 29th when they host Saint Vincent in the PAC Semifinals at 7 PM.
