TRAFFORD, Pa, - On Monday, the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) announced their newest slate of men's lacrosse athletes of the week. Among the players recognized was senior goalie James Cipollone, being named PAC Defensive Player of the Week.


Cipollone recorded a 2-0 record in the Cougars two games last week totaling 24 saves and holding a .571 save rate. The 24 saves included an 11 save performance in the Cougars 14-2 win at Marietta. In the Cougars second win of the week, Cipollone recorded 13 saves helping the Cougars beat previously undefeated Virginia Wesleyan. The Cougars defense, anchored by Cipollone, held both opponents last week to their lowest goal total of the season.


Cipollone and the Cougars will be back in action on Wednesday March 4th when they host Wittenberg for the men's lacrosse home opener at 1 PM.
