NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. – The Chatham men's soccer team (3-9-2, 2-5-1 PAC) was defeated 1-0 on the road against the Westminster College Titans (6-5-3, 3-3-2 PAC).
The Westminster goal came early in the 14th minute, and despite putting up 5 shots on goal, the Cougars were unable to respond. Chatham outshot their opponents for the sixth time this season, and it was only the second such match, first in conference play, in which the Cougars came away without a point.
On the other end of the field, senior goalkeeper
Max Cottrill ended the match with 3 saves in his 9th start of the season.
Chatham men's soccer returns home to UPMC Graham Field this Tuesday to face the Saint Vincent College Bearcats at 7:30 PM as they still remain in the hunt for a PAC tournament berth.
