Alliance, OH - The Chatham women's soccer team hit the road this evening where they fell short against the Mount Union Raiders.
In the first half, the Cougars held their own against the Raiders and came out at the end of the first half scoreless. Cougars goalkeeper
Kyanni Escudero would only have to make one save as the Raiders were held to only one shot.
It wasn't until half way through the second half when the Cougars went down. The Raiders went from having one shot on goal in the first half to having eight in the second. The Raiders second, and final, goal would come about ten minutes later.
The Cougars shut them down the rest of the half, but were unable to find themselves on the scoreboard during the rest of the game.
The Cougars next game will be this Saturday, September 6th at 1 PM at UPMC Graham Field where they will take on the Pitt Bradford Panthers.
