PITTSBURGH, Pa. - On Saturday, the Cougars (9-5, 4-1 PAC) faced off with the, previously unbeaten in conference play, Saint Vincent Bearcats (7-6, 4-1 PAC). The Cougars were in control for most of the game and won 12-6.
The first half was a back and forth affair as the Cougars started the scoring but the Bearcats answered back with a pair of goals to take their first lead of the game 2-1. The Cougars grew their lead even more as they scored two goals in the first 40 seconds of the third quarter. That was part of three straight goals to start the second half extending the Cougars lead to 8-3.
