PITTSBURGH PA - The Indoor Track & Field teams competed in the PAC Championship on February 28th, wrapping up the regular 2024-25 season.
Aurielle Brunner was named PAC Overall MVP as well as the PAC Field MVP.Â
Aurielle Brunner once again led the Cougars, this time as the sole medal winner for the team. Brunner was awarded the PAC title for her performance in the 60m hurdles. Brunner also came in 1st in the long and triple jump as well as 2nd in the high jump. She also placed 2nd in the 200m. With her long jump, a PAC record of 5.89m, Brunner is now #3 in all of Division III. Brunner's triple jump finish of 11.96m was a PAC record as well.Â
For the rest of the Cougars,
Demetrius Broadnax came in 6th in the 400m. Elizabeth Martz placed 8th in shot put.
Kendall Sirignano finished 8th in the 400m.
Jessica Ross finished 7th in women's pole vault. The relay team of
Molly Standing,
Kendall Sirignano,
Virginia Malkin, and
Aurielle Brunner finished fifth in the women's 4x400m.Â
The Cougars will be competing in the Last Chance Meet on March 8.Â
