Indoor Track and Field Compete in Muskie Meet #2

NEW CONCORD, OH - It was an early morning meet for the Chatham men's and women's indoor track and field teams as they participated in Muskie Meet #2.

The women's team would place 8th out of 11 teams at today's meet.

A large amount of points were earned on the track today for the Cougars. A 1st place finish in the 400 M DMR from Isabella Brunetto, Virginia Malkin, Eliana Borne, and Molly Green would be the reason for that.

Out in the field, Najiyah Smith would secure top 10 finishes in three different events giving the Cougars more points to the total. Smith would earn 5th in the high jump, and then 8th in both the triple jump and long jump.

As for the men, they would place 9th out of 11 teams.

All of the Cougars points would be earned around the track today from Damarius Day. Day finished 2nd in the 60 Meter and then 7th in the 200 Meter.

The Cougars are back in action Saturday, January 31st, when they head to Youngstown, OH to take part in the YSU Mid-Major kicking off at 10AM.
