PITTSBURGH – Chatham Men's Basketball (21-4, 18-2 PAC) matched their most wins in a campaign in program history on Saturday at the Athletic and Fitness Center with a 79-68 victory on senior day over Westminster (8-17, 5-15).

Lovenson Xavier was the game's leader in points scored with 19 on 9-16 shooting. Xavier also grabbed 9 rebounds and blocked 3 Titan shots.
Simon Boyer recorded his first double-double of the season, putting up 11 points and pulling down 10 boards.
Diaun Pinkett scored 18 points on 8-12 from the field, adding 7 rebounds, 2 steals and 2 assists.
Blaine Gartley contributed 11 points, shooting a perfect 5-5 from the field with 2 assists.
Easton Fulmer shot 3-5 from beyond the arc, finishing with 10 points for the Cougars.
Hunter Verling was a large factor on the glass for Chatham, recording 8 rebounds. The Cougars shot 49.2 percent from the field for the game.

Westminster opened the game with a three-point basket, but Chatham responded by going on a 12-0 run that was capped by a Fulmer basket from distance. The Cougars never would relinquish that lead for the rest of the game. Pinkett made a layup with just over six minutes to play in the half followed by a Gartley jumper to give Chatham a 25-12 advantage. The two would again score consecutive buckets with three minutes to go until the interval to put the Cougars up by 14.

The Titans scored to open the second half and cut their deficit to 11 points, and got within 8 before a
Lovenson Xavier three-pointer made the score 42-31 in favor of Chatham with 15:29 to go. The teams would continue to battle until the Cougars went on a 9-2 run to push their lead to 63-45. Chatham continued to control the game, leading by as many as 19 points with three minutes remaining. Â Westminster's 11-1 run in the ensuing minutes would not be enough, and the Cougars held on for their 11-point victory.

Jibri Carter Jr. led the Titans in scoring with 15 points on 5-8 shooting. Mick Hergenrother netted 12 points with a game high 3 steals. Jaxon Hendershott scored 10 points and grabbed 7 rebounds for Westminster. Trevor Siefke contributed 9 points, and Alex Rothwell had a game high 3 assists.

Chatham's next opponent is to be determined, as they will face the winner of 5th-seeded Grove City at 4th-seeded Geneva on Thursday at the Athletic and Fitness Center in the PAC Tournament semifinals at 7 p.m.
