Rochester, NY - On Monday, the United Collegiate Hockey Conference (UCHC) released its weekly awards for games played from November 21 to November 23. Among the players recognized was Cougars forward Michael Roby, taking home player of the week.
The Philadelphia, PA native led the Cougars to a comeback victory over SUNY Brockport in Friday night's game. He completed the hat trick, scoring the game-winning goal top shelf, in overtime, to clinch the 4-3 victory. In game two on Saturday, Roby continued his hot streak, scoring the lone Cougars goal. Roby currently leads the conference in goals with 9, through the team's first 8 games, and ranks first in goals per game with an average of 1.13. He is also tied for the conference lead in game-winning goals with 2.
Roby and the Cougars will be back in action on December 5. They play host to Albertus Magnus at 4 pm.
